Dehumidifying and drying of plastics, especially for engineering plastics with strong hygroscopicity (such as PA, PC, PBT, PET, TPU, etc.), the dew point of the runner can reach the ultra-low dew point below -50 °C. Working principle: Dry dehumidification part: The hot and humid air coming back from the drying tank is cooled and blown into the honeycomb runner. The moisture in the air is adsorbed and then desorbed by the regenerative heated air. The two air flows simultaneously act on the runner, and as the runner rotates, the moisture in the air is continuously adsorbed and discharged by the regeneration air, forming a low dew point air, which is heated to dry plastic. The temperature is blown into the drying cylinder to form a closed circulation system for deep dehumidification drying of the plastic material. Suction part: The suction material is sucked into the drying cylinder from the storage tank or other storage container. When the micro switch of the vacuum hopper detects no material, the suction motor runs to generate vacuum in the vacuum hopper. The raw material in the barrel is sucked into the vacuum hopper due to the pressure difference of the air. When the suction is completed, the motor stops running, and the raw material should fall into the drying cylinder as its own weight. The dehumidified and dried raw materials are pumped from the drying cylinder into an electric eye hopper or other hopper mounted on the plastic molding machine. The difference between the dehumidifying dryer and the ordinary dryer: 1. The dehumidifying dryer treats the moisture in the air through the runner and then heats it into the drying drum. The dehumidification system of the closed loop is used to deeply dehumidify and dry the raw materials. 2. The ordinary dryer directly heats the air to dry the raw materials, so the raw material still maintains a certain amount of moisture. The advantage of using the dehumidifying dryer: when the plastic is taken out from the moisture-proof sealed packaging bag and exposed to the atmosphere, it begins to The atmosphere absorbs moisture. If it is a conventional hot-air drum dryer, it is impossible to prevent the plastic from absorbing moisture because it is used to dry the plastic with moisture. So what are the benefits of using a dehumidifying dryer? Specifically, there are the following four points: 1. The moisture in the plastic raw material can be taken away to eliminate the generation of bubbles, thereby improving the surface properties and physical properties of the product, and solving the defective products such as bursting, toughness, strength, surface defects, etc. The product achieves ideal mechanical, electrical, dimensional stability and appearance. 2. The use of dehumidifying dryer can prevent the generation of defective products and return loss, and reduce the generation of waste. 3. For the dehumidifying dryer, the dehumidifying work is performed by using very dry air, so that the drying time can be shortened and the working hours can be saved. 4. The air line of the dehumidifying dryer adopts a closed circulation system and is equipped with a filter, so it is not affected by the external weather, and can prevent dust from causing pollution in the factory and improve the working environment.
